Home / I am a divorced father who lives in New Zealand. My ex-wife has the sole custody of our 8 year old daughter in Israel. To my despair, my ex-wife keeps inciting our daughter against me, badmouthing me as she previously did with our older children. I am certain that my ex-wife is brainwashing our daughter to make her hate me. What can I do?

You should file a plea at the Family Court, to set virtual and physical visitation/contact between you and your minor daughter. If the situation is bad and your daughter refuses contact, (virtual or visits) because of parental alienation, you should also ask the Court (within your visitation plea) to appoint an expert (a clinical psychologist who specializes in children), to recommend a treatment/therapy program for your child to regain confidence and mend your father-daughter relationship.
