Is there a standard, minimum sum set for child maintenance?

No, but courts tend to set child maintenance at around 1,300- 1,500 shekels a month where the parent claiming it for the minor does not actually prove/detail the minor’s needs in the written pleadings. This gives the impression that there is a ‘going rate’ for child maintenance. This does not include money towards the accommodation element in a child’s maintenance.
