My ex-wife, wishes to leave Israel with our minor son, to study for a PHD in Colorado, USA. She has filed the Family Court for relocation, for two years. I am afraid she will not return using the political situation here, and that she may keep our son in the US indefinitely, what can I do?

In a similar situation, on the 12th of July 2024, The Family Court granted a mother’s plea to relocate abroad for two years with her 4-year-old daughter, despite the father’s objection, and based on the appointed social worker’s expert positive opinion regarding the relocation (Family Case # 24497-01-24).
