No ! The Supreme Court of Justice has held that a minor child’s education and studies are a matter for both parents and where they disagree the court should decide. A custodial parent has no exclusive right to decide  the type of education or school  a child shall attend just because the minor lives with him/her. Both parents have equal rights and duties concerning their mutual child’s education by virtue of being the minor’s natural guardians. Education is an important part of guardianship .As mutual guardians both parents have an important role to play in educating their child.
