In November 2003 Tel Aviv Family Court awarded visitation rights to a father who had divorced the minor’s mother when she was in her ninth month of pregnancy and he was serving a prison sentence.

Normally between two meetings during the week, and visitation every other Saturday, without a sleep-over, for a very young child. From the age of 2-3, it is normal for the weekend meetings to stretch from Friday afternoon to the end of Shabbat, on Saturday evening, including a sleep-over. Holidays and Jewish festivals are normally spent alternatively with each parent, and include sleep-overs.
